Who we are
Smart is Strong (SIS) is a Cornell-based student organization committed to combating gender inequity in education and leadership.
We create spaces for dialogue, mentorship, and skill-building that equip women and gender-marginalized students with the tools to lead confidently across industries.
Through conferences, workshops, partnerships, and advocacy initiatives, SIS fosters an intersectional approach to empowerment; centering education, access, and opportunity.
